The third largest ice rink in Berlin, located in the Wedding district, has a covered ice skating rink as well as an open outdoor area that is popular in winter with residents of the district as well as Berliners from other parts of the city.

Every year, the Erika-Heß-Eisstadion opens its outdoor ice rink for public skating. This year, however, operations are not yet secure.

- The Erika Heß Eisstadion will remain closed for the time being due to repair work. If these go according to plan, the hall of the stadium should open on January 6, 2025. It is often used by ice hockey clubs. The open-air ice rink, which is very popular with amateur skaters, will remain closed for the 2024/2025 season.
